I. Pioneering Biostatistically Accurate Competitive Rejuvenation

Dr Zolman has pioneered the field of Biostatistically Accurate Competitive Rejuvenation, moving the longevity conversation from anecdotal "biohacking" to a rigorous, data-driven discipline β€” driven by his frustration with pseudoscience-based "biohackers". By applying strict clinical trial standards to N=1 protocols, his work establishes a new benchmark for what constitutes biological age reversal.

The Genesis of Competitive Rejuvenation (2019)

Dr Zolman is the original pioneer of Longevity as a Sport. In 2019, he launched the world's first Longevity Leaderboards, introducing the concept of competitive biological age reversal.

The innovation: for the first time, individuals competed based on multimodal biomarkers regressed against the leading demographic-specific population datasets of the time.

The Rejuvenation Olympics

As a co-founder of the Rejuvenation Olympics, Dr Zolman partnered with TruDiagnostic and designed a global leaderboard to standardize the competitive measurement of epigenetic pace of ageing.

  • The metric: rankings are based on a 3-test average over a rolling 6-month timeframe.
  • Utilizing the DunedinPACE (PoAm45) epigenetic "pace of aging" test to ensure maximum statistical sensitivity.

II. Case Study: Project Blueprint (2021–Present)

As the lead medical architect of Project Blueprint, Dr Zolman oversaw the most extensively measured human in history. The results demonstrated the potential of the Zolman Clocks framework:

  • Body composition optimization: achieved top 1% muscle mass and bottom 1% subcutaneous/visceral fat as measured by AMRA BCP MRI β€” the clinical gold standard for body composition. Achieved while maintaining a 10% male caloric restriction (CRON diet) at 2250 kcal/day.
  • Multi-organ validation: systematically measured 100+ biomarkers across all 82 organ types to be significantly "below chronological age." Every result validated against leading demographic-specific reference datasets to ensure objective clinical significance.

III. The Zolman Framework: Z-BAM & Zolman Clocks

To address the lack of rigor in existing biological age "clocks," Dr Zolman developed a proprietary intellectual framework for measuring rejuvenation.

Zolman Biological Age Marker (Z-BAM) Criteria

The Z-BAM Criteria is a suite of 20 peer-reviewed criteria that any biological age measurement must satisfy to be determined biostatistically accurate and clinically significant at an N=1 level. This framework prevents the "noise" of traditional methods from being misinterpreted as true biological age reversal.

Dr Zolman's commitment to "open-sourcing" longevity led to the creation of the Longevity School, seemingly the most comprehensive educational resource on evidence-based extrinsic and intrinsic age slowing and attempted reversal.
